Warrior

Charles Norcott (and his sister Anna Byrne) arrived at the Swan River Colony at age 20 on the ship Warrior on 12 March, 1830, not long after the first settlement of the Swan River Colony was established in 1829.

The Warrior was a 485 tonne wooden-hulled, copper-sheathed sailing ship. It was which was launched at Chepstow in 1828.

The ship sailed from London and Portsmouth on October 23, 1829 and travelled via St Jago and the Cape of Good Hope to the Swan River Colony, Hobart Town and then Sydney. The ship berthed in Fremantle on March 12, 1830. It was carrying 96 passengers.
