News

• Family birthday milestones: Christine Payne is 50 on the 21st June, Dale White is 40 on the 27th June and I am 70 on the 27th also.

• As mentioned in the last newsletter the first great grandchild of George & Hilda Wood was to be married, well the wedding took place between Shannon Tracey Lyell (Jim' & Kaye's daughter) and Peter Andrew Joyce on the 8th April in the ballroom at "Tay Greggan" Yarra Street Hawthorn with the reception held in the Grand Hall, a great time was had by all the guests and a rumour has it that grand parents John & Betty were among the last to call it a night

• Rob & Clare Wood have settled in Melbourne for the time being, Clare is working part time at the Richmond Football Club as a dietician and is looking for other part time work. In the meantime they are living with us at Doreen and looking for their own accommodation. Rob is working from home at the moment.

• Unfortunately I have not been able to arrange a family profile and news is slow, hopefully next issue will be more newsy.
