FAMILY PROFILE

Julian Wood   D.O.B.  25th October 1963.......I don't feel that old ! ! !

Occupation.              Since moving to Wodonga in 1999 I've worked a few odd jobs, even trying my hand at being a Sculptor, not a bad direction to go though it was hard  to earn a living. In  2002 l started working for Regional Contrax Plumbing up here in Wodonga as a Plumber/Estimator. (Absolutely love the challange with this job, we're involved with projects throughout Rural Victoria and now looking to expand further North)

Wife To Be  (Fiancee)          Michelle Harvey Registed Nurse working in the Critical Care Unit at Wodonga Hospital. ( And that job is easy compared to having to look after me)

Hobbies/Interests        Well this is a hard question because due to time constraints with work and kids its sometimes hard to do much more than look after the family (Its easier for me to combine Interests & Hobbies)   During Summer on most weekends our whole tribe loads up the car with the canoe and travel upstream on the Murray. This is no ordainary canoe we have attached a removable outriggor to the side of it which allows us to have a smooth paddle back home even with the kids jumping around mad.   Picture this we often have us two adults 15yr,11yr & 10yr old floating down all the while these kids doing bombs into the water,  and yet  smooth sailing, I also cycle most weekends and play Tennis once a week.   At the moment l find myself neally every night rolling around the floor with our latest addition to our family Tameah, she's just starting to crawl.   At times l  love just pottering around with all sorts of items around the house, sometimes they turn into sculpturs,  more often they become scrap  metal or fire wood. Every now and then l'll put pen to paper and try and produce a short story or some form of prose. I call them my Blurbs. Quite often some of the my Sculpturs I've produced would evolve from these Blurbs.

Favourite CD        I love a broard spectrum of music no favourites really, though in the last week l bought a James Blunt CD. If you have the time to listen to it, l think its worth it !

Favourite Movie        You know when you have to sit down and write about your favourite movie its damn hard. We have this ritual that every Friday night is family video night so we see alot of movies. One of the best movies that comes to mind was this low key comedy called The great race. John Cleese, Gooding Jnr, Mr Bean & a few other good actors. The best part of the about it was that it was a movie we all could watch,  ya know what l mean you didnt have to edit any part of it, the kids loved it so much that we watched it a few times. It came out about 2-3yrs ago.

Favourite TV Show     Doctor House at the moment..Ah yep and if lm home in time this show on SBS at 6pm called Thallisals, l think l've spelt it wrong but its a great show covering different locations around the world.

Fav; Holiday               Merimbula, every January with the family.

Favourite Meal           A dish we call spicy rice.

Favourite Book          I should have put this in the interests/hobbies section, l devour books, there must be about 9 authors l follow, mostly criminal, murder mystery..etc....

Car l drive                4 X 4 Nissan Patrol   Famous person  ld like to dine with    Jamie Oliver, l might learn something.   Event l would like to participate in at the Olympics            Cycling

Favourite Team        Collingwood.  Is there another team ?

Pets                        Rabbit, Guinea Pig & Maltese Shitzu.... Ah yes and the Yabby

The talent l would  love to have            Is to be able to speak a few other languages.

Any other Information    You listed a category for anything else l wish to include but l got to tell ya if l start l may never stop.  What l can tell you is that l feel life is great for me up in Wodonga, theres enough work, the kids are all doing very well
